MUSE

  • You play Kyrie, a supernatural being known as a Muse. She belongs to the Mythic Union for Societal Enrichment (MUSE), an association devoted to the cause of fighting one of the most dangerous forces facing the modern world today: ennui.
  • Trained Muses are assigned a human being who is suffering from creative block, with the primary goal of inspiring them to their craft. The muse then works with the assignee’s life, either wrecking a particular aspect of it or creating something beautiful for them to experience. As a result, the assignee is hopefully inspired to write or draw about their experience, whereupon the Muse’s mission is considered complete.
  • Kyrie may choose to continue guiding the assignee into a different genre of inspiration... The more of a particular genre Kyrie inspires, the better she becomes at creating that sort of inspiration and she’ll eventually earn a title representing it. (i.e. Muse of Romance, Muse of Comedy, Muse of Tragedy, etc.)

  • counter this with another mode to see a list of candidates with partisan summaries and trying to make your decision based on that...

Sim Afterlife

  • Design and manage humanity’s final resting place(s) and affect the Earth’s fate by disposing mankind toward good or evil!
  • You are the Keeper of the Afterlife and as such are responsible for several different tasks, including designing punishments in Hell, rewards in Heaven, and determining where potentially questionable deceased souls deserve to go.
  • Souls are reincarnated after a given amount of time in Heaven and Hell and their time in their respective afterlife will determine what sort of next life they will choose to lead. In other words, an evil soul who was sent to Hell and suffered appropriately will be more likely disposed to doing good deeds in its next life. Over time, depending on the effectiveness of your afterlife punishments and rewards, humankind will slowly become disposed towards good or evil and Earth’s state will be reflected as such.
  • Also from time to time, you will be asked to determine the fate of specific souls that are likely to become extremely influential people to mankind. The handling of these souls is very important, as they will be instrumental in changing the course of Earth’s progression.
