Problems that need solutions

  • Scaling: experiences that are good for one person are not good for many
    • "Raiding" in WoW... fun experience, but requiring "x" people to go to some place is a frequently an obstacle
  • Replayability
  • Reward systems
  • AI and NPC-PC interactions: graphics and game physics are rapidly improving, however the intelligence of NPCs and the interaction between NPCs and players are still very limited.
